Thompson… This is the R&D section of our business, affectionally known amongst staff as the South Pier Alchochemistry Research Facility. Here, is where we develop, test and taste all manner of ingredients and spirits. From liqueurs to bitters to different ways to age, the Spirit Development Lab gives an insight on what happens behind closed doors when we’re not producing the Wheadon’s Gins or Indica Rums that we’re known for...

Kaffir Lime & Raspberry Gin – 46% 70cl

Fresh Raspberry meets spicy Kaffir Lime in this Yin & Yang gin that strikes a fine balance between the two distinctly opposing flavours. Opposites really do attract in this gin as juicy fruit and green acidity is balanced with spicy citrus. A true one off for our first Spirit Development Lab box and a perfect example of how palatability can be achieved by combining two divergent flavours.

Serve with FeverTree Premium Indian Tonic for a different kind of G&T, or swap the tonic out for FeverTree’s Ginger Ale and enjoy a drink that’ll transport you to the beaches of Phuket.

The simple combination of spirit, mixer & ice can make a humble and beautiful drink, but you can always have more... This is why we’ve included some bright and fresh Liqueurs in this first box to elevate your G&T game. Pour just a touch of one (or both, f@#k it) into your G&T to accentuate flavours and sweetness. Our Liqueurs are single distilled botanicals concentrated into sweet boozy cordials which add a new depth of flavour to anything. Having a glass of Champagne or Prosecco? Stick a few milliliters of one of our Liqueurs at the bottom of the glass first. Making a cocktail? Use our Liqueurs as the sugar syrup to enhance that Whiskey Sour or Daiquiri. The possibilities may not be endless, but they’re certainly delicious.
