WHEADON'S GINS

Channel Islands Liquor Co. was founded on a simple idea: to create bold, distinctive spirits that capture the essence of our island home.

It all began in 2015, when our founder, Luke Wheadon, set up a small 2L copper still with a mission to distil a gin that he liked and one that embodied the wild beauty and coastal character of Guernsey.

Inspired by the success of this unique flavour, we continued to push the boundaries of distillation, crafting further gins to the Wheadons range, each with its own identity and story.

PINK GRANITE GIN

Created in 2019 for our friends Neil and Jane at Dunell’s, Pink Granite was distilled by Luke and became part of the CI Liquor Co. range in 2024. A bold expression of raspberry, pink pepper and place — inspired by Jersey and Guernsey’s coastal stone and a shared love of great spirits.

INDICA RUMS

Launched in 2019 to mark the opening of our Sail Loft Distillery in Jersey, Indica Rum was born to challenge convention. Distilled with organically grown cannabis botanicals from the Channel Islands, it delivers rich, aromatic depth — a rum with real presence and purpose.

In 2020, Indica made international headlines, winning four golds and three world titles at the World Rum Awards, including World’s Best Designed Rum.

Two years later, Indica Spiced joined the family, layering warming spice over our signature base. Together, they reflect our pursuit of bold flavour, local innovation, and spirits that turn heads.

Our original Indica Rum blends four rums aged 8–10 years with Channel Islands-grown cannabis. Bold, smooth and botanical, it’s a rich, aromatic spirit that made global impact — winningWorld’s Best Designed Rum at the 2020 World Rum Awards.
